"The most thrilling of all musical aspects for me is refining the art of improvisation, which can only be fulfilled in a hands-on manner: 'jamming'! I have jammed with many wonderful musicians, such as Tommy Allsup, The Texas Playboys, Tommy Morrell & The Time Warp Tophands, Riders In The Sky, Hot Club Of Cowtown, The Time Jumpers, Dave Alexander & Big Texas Swing Band, Rich O'Brien, and Joe Settlemires. I have these entertainers, among others, to thank for helping to expand my musical horizons." |

GLENN MCLAUGHLIN guitar Glenn's musical career began as somewhat of a fluke. When a last-minute band member cancellation placed his sister Ginny Mac in a jam, she convinced Glenn to "pick up that ol' guitar in the corner" and learn enough material for the show. That was just over four years ago, and he has been by her side since then, with no intention of ever putting that guitar back in the corner. Only nineteen-years-old, Glenn has a natural ear for music and is a masterful, creative young guitar ace. He began with the piano as a young lad, and soon became a drummer and trumpet player. As a sophomore in college, he is kept busy preparing for exams, traveling for gigs, and practicing guitar. Glenn plays a 1978 Taylor 600 Series, a Fender Stratocaster, a Nashville Gretsch, and a Godin Montreal. |
