Howdy folks!! We're ready to go and excited about Summer gigs! Be sure to check back for continued updates about what's going on in our camp and where we're playing! I've learned so much in Nashville while co-producing a solo record for one of my dearest friends and colleagues, Woody Paul (member of the two-time Grammy-award winning group Riders In The Sky)! We keep busy at the controls right there at The Fiddle House in East Nashville, with Buddy Spicher playing fiddle, helping with arrangements, and bringing so much of his legendary expertise to the project. Plus, he and Woody have been friends for...hmm...at least 45 years now! There are some serious pickers on the record, such as Bob Moore, Andy Reiss, Dave Racine, and all members of Riders In The Sky making a guest appearance. This is just the beginning! More pickers and friends will be featured as we get into the 'meat and potatoes' part of makin' music. Talk about good times, good music, good friends!

I enjoyed the experience of a lifetime--I played the GRAND OLE OPRY with my favorite cowboy band Riders In The Sky!! I was backstage at the Opry in Nashville, when out of nowhere the guys exclaimed, "Ginny! Get your accordion. You're fillin' in for Joey. You've got six minutes!" It was the craziest thing I ever heard. I didn't even know what was happening as I wrestled my accordion out of the car and dashed backstage. Curtains opened...the guys played a quick 2-5-1 to get into "Texas Plains"...and man! Is it ever HUGE looking out from that stage!!! Between yodels and guitar chunkin' and fiddle licks and beautiful, soaring western ballads, that was one of the most memorable and beautiful experiences in my life!
