Welcome to The History of Western Swing lecture series! If you have a hankering to learn more about Western Swing music and its ties to Fort Worth - its very birthplace - you've landed in the right spot.
We enjoyed four sessions, Tuesday nights, plenty laid back, and full of fun and information.
The course is open to musicians and non-musicians alike! At times, I brought in professional Western Swing musicians to demonstrate key elements of the genre (and we did some pickin') but don't be discouraged if you don't play an instrument.
