Welcome to The History of Western Swing lecture series! If you have a hankering to learn more about Western Swing music and its ties to Fort Worth - its very birthplace - you've landed in the right spot. Four sessions, Tuesday nights, plenty laid back, and full of fun and information. This course is open to musicians and non-musicians alike! At times, I will be bringing in professional Western Swing musicians to demonstrate key elements of the genre (and we'll do some pickin') but don't be discouraged if you don't play an instrument. This series is designed for everyone.

In the meantime, I've begun compiling some resources on Western Swing music.
